Physical therapy versus physiotherapy: Physical therapy region wisely termed as
physiotherapy like the term physiotherapy is popular in western countries
especially in the USA, whereas physiotherapy is called in India and Canada etc.

assess, plan and implement rehabilitative programs that improve or restore

National Physical Therapy Examination:-
Work as physiotherapist and physical
therapist assistant in the USA it is compulsory to pass the
NPTE exam to be eligible for the mentioned title, almost every candidate
wants an opportunity to brighten the career and expand the door of knowledge

Organizations:- FSBPT:-The
Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy administers (NPTE) the National
Physical Therapy Examination.
Eligibility:- Graduated of a physical therapy or physical therapist assistant
education program is compulsory to become a licensed physical therapist or
licensed/certified physical therapist assistant (or to regain
licensure/certification if lapsed) in the United States (US).
Outer Candidates:- Foreign-educated
candidates who wish to become licensed in the US must also take and pass this
examination.
Ranking:- The candidate must have
to score between 200 to 800 and the minimum passing score is 600 for both the
fields of PT and PTA
Exam category:-The NPTE is a computer-based exam. It has five sections each with
50 questions. Of the 250 multiple choice questions and only 200 marks are
scored.
The other 50 questions are taken pretested to
see if they meet the standards to be included in future exams.
Break time:- Only one break of 15 minutes during the exam will be
allowed. The student is allowed to take three willing breaks but that
break will be from test time.
Exam Center:- The
examination is scheduled at the Pro-metric Test Center, the candidates are
not required to visit the destination for which applied to the license.
